Lori Evers
Lori Evers, C.P.A., has a strong background in the tax area. She graduated with honors from the University of Tampa, with a double major in Accounting and Arts Management. She has been involved in public accounting since 1980, having spent four years working as the Tax Manager for a large, local C.P.A. firm before the formation of Evers and Fox. Lori is especially strong in the area of individual estate and trust taxation. She also spends a portion of her time dealing with IRS litigation taxation and collection issues. Currently Lori is a Trustee for the Georgia Federal Tax Conference, The Leadership Team for the Management of an Accounting Practice (MAP) Section of the Georgia Society of CPA’S, and the Local Board of the Community Foundation for Greater North Fulton County. Lori is past Chair of the Taxation Committee for the Georgia Society of CPA’s, and the Atlanta Tax Study Association. She has served on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant’s Tax Practice and Procedure Committee. Lori’s emphasis is on individual tax planning and preparation, executive compensation and stock option planning, trust and estate taxation, tax litigation and collections.
