Steve Byrne
Steve Byrne, CPA, is a partner with Mauldin & Jenkins, Certified Public Accountants, LLC. Steve received his BBA from Auburn University in 1977 and currently works and resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
Steve joined Mauldin & Jenkins in 1979 and enjoys serving professional practices and other service focused businesses, as well as real estate and midsized manufacturing and distribution companies. Most of his clients are closely held or family-owned businesses. He also provides and coordinates other services to help those and other clients including audits of 401(k) plans and individual income tax preparation. While he regularly provides tax, audit and accounting services to our clients, he has assisted many clients through ownership transition and in other areas such as multi-state taxation. He routinely assists clients in a wide variety of decisions and consulting issues related to both the business and its impact on the individual. Steve is very active as a sounding board and facilitator for business planning issues and entity formation and selection, and has had two clients win the “Georgia Family Business of the Year” presented by Kennesaw State College’s Family Enterprise Center.
