Terry Henderson
Terry Henderson, CPA, is a partner with Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC. Terry is the Partner-in-Charge of the Macon office and Member of the Mauldin & Jenkins’ Executive Committee. Terry received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Georgia in 1977. He is active in the Macon Downtown Rotary Club and is the VP of Finance for the Central Georgia Council Boy Scouts of America Board. With his wife, Van, and children Kea and Maddie, Terry currently resides in Macon, Georgia where he is a member of Vineville United Methodist Church.
Since joining Mauldin & Jenkins in 1977, Terry has devoted much of his career to the Long-term Health Care industry. As a Health Care specialist, he provides a variety of consulting services to nursing homes, assisted living facilities and continuing care retirement communities including Medicaid and Medicare cost report preparation and reimbursement strategy, assistance with Certification of Need applications, conventional, bond and HUD debt financing, audits and reviews, preparations of financial forecasts and feasibility studies, preparation of facility budgets, employee benefit program consulting, income tax preparation and planning, and other financial reporting services. Terry also provides business and consulting services to clients involved in real estate development, wholesale distribution and emerging small business entrepreneurs.
Terry is active with the Georgia Health Care Association, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the American Health Care Association, and the American Institution of Certified Public Accountants.
