The University of Alabama held it’s annual Career Fair on Thursday, August 25, 2011. Representing M&J was Kristin Boozer, Senior; Amanda Saint, Manager; and Joseph Martin, Manager. Thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth.

Ryan Miller, Michael Hamilton, Scott Ezzell and June Paschal attended the Awards Banquet at Auburn University.  The Mauldin & Jenkins Auburn Scholarship was presented to Allison Belcher of Huntsville, AL. 

Laura Williams was awarded the Elton and Janet Wolf Endowed Scholarship.  This scholarship was established by retired managing partner, Elton Wolf and his wife Janet, who are both Auburn University graduates.  They established this scholarship to award a deserving student the opportunity to pursue an accounting education at Auburn.

Jim Vaughn, June Paschal, Christopher McKellar and Aubrie Skipper attended the annual Accountancy Day at Georgia Southern on April 21.  Jim presented the Beta Alpha Psi program, June conducted mock interviews and Aubrie was a participant in the Young Professionals panel discussion.  They also attended the mini career fair and the scholarship banquet. 

Jim presented the D. Greg Morgan Family Scholarship.  Atlanta partner, Greg Morgan and his wife Ruth established this scholarship to assist a deserving student from a small town in Georgia in pursuing an accounting degree.  This year’s recipient was Rachel Clift of Metter, GA.

The Georgia Southern Mauldin & Jenkins scholarships were awarded to Andrew Weber and Andrea Monk.

John McDuffie returned to his Alma Mater, Valdosta State University, to attend the Accounting Honors luncheon and award the Valdosta State Mauldin & Jenkins scholarship.  Congratulations to Devin Webb, winner of the scholarship, pictured below with John . 

Jeff Fucito, Partner, and Carmen Weaver, Coordinator, attended Oglethorpe University’s Spring Reception on April 21, 2011. We had a great time meeting the students and teachers.  Mauldin & Jenkins is proud to support Oglethorpe by donating a $1,000 scholarship to an exceptional student.

Kennesaw State University’s School of Accountancy held its annual Honors Banquet on Thursday, April 21, 2011.  Matt Menerey, Manager, presented the $1000 scholarship on behalf of M&J.

Congratulations to Samuel T. Allen.  He is the recipient of Mauldin & Jenkins $1000 scholarship.  The UGA Awards Banquet was held on Thursday, April 21st.  Donny Luker, Managing Partner;Lauren Payne, HR Coordinator;and Kelsie Deiter, HR Coordinator; represented M&J.  Donny and Lauren both graduated from UGA.

Kate Dahlberg was awarded the University of Alabama Mauldin & Jenkins scholarship.  Kelsie Deiter and June Paschal attended the Awards Banquet and presented the scholarship.
