Brian Carter

Brian Carter, CPA, is a partner with Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC. Brian received his BBA in Accounting from Mercer University in 1996 and is licensed as a CPA in Georgia and Florida. He is a board member and vice chair of the board for PACE Center for Girls – Manatee and the former treasurer and board member of the Houston Middle Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross. Brian currently resides in Bradenton, Florida.

Since joining Mauldin & Jenkins in 1996, Brian has devoted much of his career to the affordable housing and not-for-profit industries. As an affordable housing and not-for-profit specialist, he provides a variety of accounting, auditing and tax services to owners, managers and developers of affordable housing throughout the Southeast and a variety of services to not-for-profit organizations including audits, compilations and reviews, 990 income tax preparation, and consulting with board of directors on governance and policy issues.

Brian is active with the Georgia Education Advancement Council, Leading Age Florida, and the American Institution of Certified Public Accountants. Brian is a frequent speaker to various trade and civic organizations on topics affecting the not-for-profit industry.
