Elisa Annelin is a highly experienced consultant specializing in forensic accounting, compliance, and litigation support. Her expertise includes assisting with SEC enforcement actions, conducting internal investigations, and supporting experts in economic damages analyses. Known for her ability to develop detailed financial models and uncover critical insights, Elisa is a trusted advisor in high-stakes matters.
Throughout her career, Elisa has managed engagements investigating accounting irregularities, embezzlement, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations. She has guided clients through financial restatements, internal control assessments, and compliance monitoring for federal and state programs. Her experience also includes supporting litigation experts in disputes related to Ponzi schemes, intellectual property, and contract matters, and preparing business interruption and insurance claims. Prior to joining the firm, Elisa held senior roles at global firms including BDO, Navigant (now Ankura), Ernst & Young, and FTI Consulting.
Elisa holds a Master’s in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Indiana University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis.
