A public release will be made by the GASB shortly, but today the Board approved the addition of a new, fast-tracked project to its agenda that would consider a delay in the effective dates of all currently issued GASB Standards and Implementation Guide updates. The project plan calls for the following:
– Approval of an Exposure Draft – GASB Teleconference on April 14th
– Comment Period – April thru mid-May
– Final Standard vote – GASB Teleconference on May 26th
