A Partner with the Firm, Bob’s focus is individual income tax compliance and planning. He also works with closely held companies and employee benefit plans. Those services include the traditional audit, review, and compilation financial reporting, consulting, planning, and tax compliance. Bob joined Mauldin & Jenkins in 2008 and has been in public accounting since 2000. Bob received a bachelor of arts in psychology from Indiana University in 1993. He later went back to school for accounting. When he took the CPA exam, he passed all four parts in one setting and placed in the top 10 in the state of Kentucky. Through the years, Bob has been very active in his community. He is a member of the 2018 Leadership Cobb class. He has served on many non-profit boards including as chair of Our Place Drug and Alcohol Services, Inc., treasurer of Juvenile Justice Fund, and as a board member of The Frazer Center. He has also volunteered his time by coaching and managing youth sports over the last fifteen years. Bob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the AICAP Employee Benefit Plan Quality Center.
