Caitlin began her professional career in 2014. She provides tax services to real estate entities, complex structured partnerships, and entities with multistate activities. Caitlin also prepares tax returns for complex partnerships and has experience with special income allocations, 704(b) capital accounts, and 754 elections and adjustments. In addition, she has experience preparing tax returns and conducting tax compliance research for a variety of complex multistate clients. Caitlin’s broad experience includes working on returns related to qualified opportunity zone funds and qualified opportunity zone businesses and preparing and filing administrative adjustment requests for taxpayers subject to the centralized partnership audit regime.

CONSTRUCTION

Caitlin primarily works with residential construction and traditional neighborhood development clients. She provides construction-specific lookback calculations and converts revenues from the percentage of completion method to completed contract.

REAL ESTATE

Caitlin has experience with tax compliance and planning for commercial, residential, development, and hospitality entities. The services she provides to her real estate clients include analysis of material participation and real property trade or businesses to qualify as a real estate professional. Caitlin also provides calculations of deferred gains using like-kind exchanges.
