Chris Thorpe, CPA is a director with Mauldin & Jenkins, specializing in corporate, partnership and individual taxation. He has over 25 years of experience in accounting and taxation, working with a wide variety of clients and industries. He specializes in closely-held businesses, consulting with owners on a variety of business and tax-savings strategies. Chris graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Accounting in 1993 and from Georgia State University with a Master of Taxation in 1995. He became a CPA in 1997 and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Chris is a native Atlantan, growing up in the Stone Mountain area, and currently lives in Dunwoody with his wife, Kimberly, and their three daughters. On the weekend, you can usually find him either on the sidelines of a local soccer field or in Athens at a UGA football game.
