David Jahosky is a Partner with Mauldin & Jenkins and specializes in providing Advisory Services to Government clients. He provides Strategy, Transformation, Operational Efficiency and Effectiveness, and Performance Management services. David is based out of the firm’s Bradenton, Florida office.

David is an experienced leader and has been serving public sector entities for almost 30 years, helping clients meet the challenges they face in serving the public good – to achieve regulatory or standards compliance, exceed operational targets, improve performance, and enhance accountability and reporting. David brings deep expertise in Management and Financial Consulting, Governmental Budgeting and Accounting, Best Practices in State and Local Government Operations, Internal Audit, and Data Analytics.

Prior to joining Mauldin & Jenkins, David was a Sr. Vice President with a national consulting firm. His responsibilities included the oversight of the Strategy, Grants and Compliance Team that included American Rescue Plan services, management studies, revenue enhancement services, and other grants management services to clients in 9 States.

Early in his career, David worked in local government in Florida and Georgia, where he gained extensive knowledge of governmental accounting as well as the budgetary and strategic planning impacts on local government. His responsibilities included feasibility studies, management audits, budget preparation and analysis, and financial reports. These projects have required the intergovernmental coordination between city and county governments, numerous municipalities, and Elected Officials.
