David has experience in accounting practice in both public practice and private industry since 1989. He spent fourteen years of his professional career in the senior living industry. The remaining years of experience, David has spent in public accounting. David specializes in assurance and tax services for closely held entities and non-profit organizations. David has a wide variety of industry experience with current and former clients in the distribution, manufacturing, professional services, retail, restaurant, and not-for-profit industries. David serves on the Assurance Committee and oversees the Firm’s licensing in each state. 

David received his B.S. Degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina in 1992, his Master’s in Accountancy from the University of South Carolina in 1993, and his CPA certification in 1994. Professional Affiliations (professional membership): David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. Community/Boards: David serves on the SC Thrive’s Board of Directors, is a Past President of the Central Chapter of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. 

David and his wife Amy have two adult children: Gracen and John David.
