John brings over 20 years of financial accounting and consulting experience to his role as director at Mauldin & Jenkins, specializing in audits of private companies, including financial institutions, manufacturing, employee benefit plans and not-for profit organizations. In the financial institution practice area, John is responsible for the ongoing servicing of financial institution clients, which includes overseeing the completion of engagements such as opinion audits, internal audits, FDICIA compliance services, and management advisory services. He is responsible for on-site supervision of professional staff and their compliance with all professional and regulatory standards.
