Lance began his professional career with a Big Four firm and joined the firm in 1995. He assists clients with their audit, assurance, and advisory needs. Lance also works with clients throughout the year, keeping them abreast of industry standards and assisting with the implementation of best practices. He consults on projects such as agreed-upon procedures, operational reviews, internal control evaluations, industry benchmarking, grant compliance, and due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions, among others. Lance works with clients in a variety of industries, with a focus on dealership services, nonprofits, including education, hospitality, entertainment, and employee benefit plan (EBP) audit services.

DEALERSHIP SERVICES
Lance has been serving clients in the industry for over a decade. His experience includes serving the largest Caterpillar equipment dealer in Louisiana. Actively involved with his clients, Lance has developed a deep understanding of their businesses, allowing him to support them through the full lifecycle of their needs.

EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLAN SERVICES
Lance has audited various types of employee benefit plans, including 401(k)s, 403(b)s, and federal contract benefit plans.

HOSPITALITY AND ENTERTAINMENT
Lance has substantive experience serving clients in the restaurant, hotel, food and beverage, and film production industries. He provides assurance and advisory services and merger and acquisition assistance to his clients.

NONPROFIT
Active in the community and the former leader of the LaPorte Nonprofit Industry Group, Lance brings his understanding of the unique concerns of nonprofit entities to bear as he assists clients with audits of financial statements, internal control evaluations, and various other client-specific projects, including industry benchmarking and compliance with government programs. He also provides compliance testing in accordance with Uniform Guidance and has extensive experience with Louisiana Legislative Auditor reporting requirements. Lance initiated the industry group’s very successful annual educational series, which began in 2015 and continues today.
