Nicole Cunningham Cowell is a Partner in the Birmingham, AL office and has been with the firm since 2005. Nicole received her BS degree in Business Administration in 2004 and her Master of Accountancy in 2005, both from Auburn University.

Nicole's experience includes audits for financial institutions, internal control audits, non-profit organization audits, HUD audits, and examinations of controls at service center organizations. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Association of NonProfits, and is on the faculty of the Alabama Banking School. Nicole also serves on the firm's Executive Committee, Assurance Committee and is the Women's Alliance Committee Lead.

Nicole is very active in the community serving as the past President Society Chair and past Merchant Chair for Market Noel with the Junior League of Birmingham, a Fund Allocation Team Member for United Way of Central Alabama, and Junior Board Member with the Exceptional Foundation and a member of and Treasurer for The Service Guild of Birmingham benefiting the Bell Center and a member of the finance committee at Independent Presbyterian Church. Nicole resides in Birmingham with her husband Matt Cowell.
