Randy serves as a trusted advisor with extensive expertise in audit and assurance services. Before joining Mauldin & Jenkins, Randy held the position of Quality Control Director at LaPorte, CPAs and Business Advisors, where he was responsible for helping ensure compliance with professional standards and advancing firm-wide quality initiatives. His experience encompasses a diverse range of industries, including healthcare, nonprofit organizations, construction, and employee benefit plans, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of complex financial and regulatory requirements.

Randy earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of New Orleans and maintains active membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Louisiana CPA Society (LCPA), and the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). He is also a committee member of United Way of Southeast Louisiana’s Agency Audit Committee and a past chair.
