COLUMBIA, December 12, 2024- Professionals from Mauldin & Jenkins, a leading assurance, tax and advisory firm, dedicated a day to giving back by participating in Walks for Wags, an initiative designed to support Final Victory Animal Rescue by offering care, companionship, and enrichment to rescue dogs and cats in need.
Columbia employees spent several hours walking, playing, and bringing joy to animals needing care. These small, but meaningful acts make a significant impact on the well-being of animals who are awaiting adoption by creating a safe and nurturing environment.
Associate Riley Moss shared, “This is one of my favorite company events. As a long-time volunteer and foster with Final Victory Animal Rescue, it’s incredibly rewarding to help rescue dogs decompress and enjoy time outside the shelter. Our team loves the opportunity to step away from work, take a walk, and connect with these amazing pups—it’s a meaningful experience for everyone involved.”
Final Victory Animal Rescue, a nonprofit organization, aims to provide animals with a safe and loving place after traumatic events of neglect. Their foster network and adoption process has successfully placed over 3,000 rescued animals into their forever homes.
