BIRMINGHAM, May 2, 2025- Professionals from Mauldin & Jenkins, a Top 100 assurance, tax, and advisory firm, proudly joined local runners, families, and supporters at the Annual Red Shoe Run: Rockin’ 5K fundraiser, benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama.
The Red Shoe Run is one of RMHCA’s largest annual events. This year, they were able to raise $36,342, surpassing the goal of $35,000. Their efforts focused on increasing awareness and securing vital funds for local families whose children are undergoing medical treatment at nearby hospitals. With 14 Birmingham office participants, Mauldin & Jenkins expressed its strong support for this community initiative.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama seeks to provide a “home-away-from-home” experience for families of critically ill or injured children receiving medical care in Birmingham. Their mission of offering comfort, care, and support has aided 5,011 serviced guests, 2,372 family stays, and $7.3 million saved in food and lodging costs.
