Mauldin & Jenkins values the tremendous impact that nonprofits make on our community. We are passionate about helping nonprofits fulfill their unique missions, and proudly support and serve over 600 nonprofit clients across the Southeast through dedicated and experienced professionals who truly care about helping our clients to achieve success! Therefore, we wanted to take the opportunity to promote an upcoming event referred to as GA Gives which will take place on #GivingTuesday (November 27, 2018). On this day, the Georgia Center for Nonprofits will unite with GAgives and more than 80 community campaigns across the United States as well as participants in 98 countries to encourage a day of generosity to benefit participating nonprofits. Last year through the generosity of thousands of donors, the state of Georgia raised $6.8 million for more than 3,000 nonprofits! This event also creates a valuable platform to increase awareness of the work and worth of Georgia’s nonprofit sector without which, our communities would be lacking the standard of work, play, and livelihood that we have become accustomed to.
So mark your calendars for November 27th and plan on being a part of #GivingTuesday! Nonprofits cannot operate without the support of their communities so M&J challenges you to join us in participation! You can even start now by visiting their website (www.gagives.org) and choosing a cause that means most to you whether it be economic development, religion, education, health, animals, children and youth, etc. Once you select a category, you will be able to view the nonprofits involved and then make a donationof any amount.
