The Cobb Community Foundation was founded in 1993 with the intent of inspiring charitable giving, and it’s safe to say that they have succeeded! In 2017, the foundation provided $1.4 million in grants, $900,000 of which was distributed to local charitable organizations. The foundation has been fueled by their vision to one day live in a community fully engaged in meeting needs now and into the future. So in order to celebrate their 25th birthday, The Cobb Community Foundation hosted a brunch, which M&J was glad to attend and help sponsor. Founders, past board chairs and board members were honored, and attendees were able to hear from individuals whose lives were impacted by the Community Impact Grants. During the brunch, Cobb Community Foundation raised over $50k in about 20 minutes from donations of audience members via mobile devices! We are grateful to be able to support the positive changes being made in our local community by this admirable foundation.
