Hailey Denney, an accounting student at Kennesaw State University, was awarded a scholarship from Mauldin & Jenkins at the Accountancy Honors Banquet on Thursday, April 25.
The event was held at Marrietta Country Club over lunch and included a guest speaker, an academic year recap by Beta Alpha Psi President and Vice president, and a moving speech by Abmarie Martinez, MAcc 2019. The guest speaker was Aaron Gagnon, Chief Audit Executive, Apple, and Kennesaw State University alum. Aaron has led the Internal Audit Department at Apple since January 2018. Prior to joining Apple, he worked at Ernst & Young and Abercrombie & Fitch. He currently serves on the KSU School of Accountancy Advisory Board and is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Life University.
