ATLANTA- January 4, 2023 – Mauldin & Jenkins announced today that it will acquire MDG Professional Group, P.C., a full-service accounting firm in Huntsville, Alabama. Effective January 1, 2023, the transaction further expands Top 100 assurance, tax and advisory firm Mauldin & Jenkins’ presence in the North Alabama region and represents the second acquisition in the Huntsville area for the rapidly growing firm in just two years.
MDG Professional Group, P.C. is known throughout the Huntsville area for providing exceptional auditing, accounting, tax and consulting services to individuals and businesses and is managed by Ralph Dowdy, CPA, one of the firm’s founders. Bringing over 40 years of experience in public accounting, Dowdy joins Mauldin & Jenkins as a partner, along with Larry Gilley, Stephen Moore, and Regina McDaniel.
