Mauldin & Jenkins Advances Five Spots on IPA’s Top 100 Firms List, Named Among Fastest-Growing Firms

ATLANTA- Mauldin & Jenkins, a leading provider of assurance, tax, and advisory services nationwide, advanced five spots to No. 54 on INSIDE Public Accounting’s (IPA) 2026 list of Top 100 Firms. The firm was also named among IPA’s Fastest-Growing Firms.

Compiled annually, the Top 100 list measures the scale and market position of the nation’s leading accounting firms using net revenue reported through IPA’s Practice Management Survey.

Mauldin & Jenkins’ rise on the list reflects the firm’s continued execution of its long-term strategic plan. Over the past year, the firm entered new markets in South Carolina, Louisiana and Texas, strengthened its Governmental Advisory Practice, and added professionals with specialized industry and technical expertise. Together, these investments increased the firm’s capacity to address the complex business and financial needs of its clients.

Mauldin & Jenkins also continued to develop advisory offerings in areas of increasing client demand. The firm expanded its Client Accounting and Advisory Services capabilities, added Research & Development Tax Credit services to enhance its Specialty Tax Practice, and established a Name, Image, and Likeness Practice for athletes and their families.

“Our position on this year’s list reflects the intentional direction of the firm and the continued commitment of our professionals,” stated Hanson Borders, Managing Partner. “We have maintained a disciplined approach to growth by pursuing opportunities that enhance our ability to serve clients as their needs and the profession continues to evolve.”

Mauldin & Jenkins’ momentum has continued beyond the period reflected in the 2026 rankings. On August 1, the firm welcomed Schmoyer and Company, LLC, strengthening its presence in the Greater Columbia, South Carolina market. The combination added expertise in healthcare accounting, small-business advisory, bookkeeping, strategic tax planning and preparation, and traditional accounting and audit services.
