Mark Abernathy, CPA is a Partner in the Athens, Alabama office, which he joined in 2019. He has spent much of his 15 years of public accounting specializing in assurance services for companies in various industries which include primarily state and local governments, not-for-profits, healthcare, government and construction contracting, and employee benefit plans. Mark is a member of the AICPA and the ASCPA, and is a current Board Member of CASA of North Alabama. 

Mark resides in Athens with his wife, Jessica, and their three children, John Mark, Grant and Catherine.
