Metairie, April 21, 2026- Professionals from leading assurance, tax, and advisory firm Mauldin & Jenkins, formerly LaPorte CPAs & Business Advisors, partnered with United Way of Southeast Louisiana for a meaningful Day of Action at Sankofa Wetland Park & Nature Trail in celebration of International Women’s Day.
Employees worked together to help create a new birding trail by clearing designated areas and transplanting native iris flowers. This hands-on initiative supports habitat restoration, encourages environmental stewardship, and enhances access to this valued community space for years to come.
