Birmingham, Alabama, July 8, 2025- Professionals from Mauldin & Jenkins, a leading assurance, tax and advisory firm, dedicated time to serve the local community by volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama (RMHCA).Â
Our team of volunteers came together in two meaningful ways to support the families at the Ronald McDonald House. In the morning, one group baked homemade treats, filling the kitchen with the kind of comforting smells that remind you of home — a small but heartfelt gesture meant to offer families a sense of ease and normalcy during a challenging time. Later in the day, another group rolled up their sleeves to clean and refresh the common areas, making sure the lounges, dining room, and play spaces were clean, inviting, and ready for families to relax in. It was a team effort that helped create a warm, welcoming environment — a reflection of what the Ronald McDonald House is all about. Â

We are grateful for the opportunity to give back and support the 70+ families currently residing there. Being a small part of the joy that filled the house brought us a huge amount of joy in return. “
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama (RMHCA) provides comfort, care & support for families with critically ill or injured children who live locally and who come in from out of state.
