Athens, November 25, 2025– Professionals from Mauldin & Jenkins, a leading assurance, tax, and advisory firm, recently guided local high school students through a hands-on personal finance simulation to help them understand future financial responsibilities.
The event, “Your Money, Your Life,” was hosted by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Alabama 4-H, in partnership with Alabama A&M University and Auburn University. Employees spent the day helping students manage a mock salary, pay bills, and make practical decisions regarding housing, transportation, and groceries.
Manager, Rebecca Patten, said, “Helping students understand where their money goes and how important it is to plan for their future is one of the most impactful ways we can give back to our community.
