Benjamin serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC, where he leverages over two decades of technical and operational expertise. As a key member of the executive team, he is responsible for the Firm’s overarching technology roadmap, ensuring that digital infrastructure and innovation are seamlessly aligned with long-term strategic goals. His leadership experience spans critical domains, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance, providing the Firm with a secure and scalable foundation for growth.
Benjamin received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a concentration in Information Systems from West Virginia State University and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an added specialization in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.
Prior to joining Mauldin & Jenkins, Benjamin spent more than 12 years in high-impact leadership roles at Baker Tilly and Arnett Carbis Toothman. His diverse professional background also includes foundational experience within the non-profit, higher education, and legal sectors. A passionate advocate for professional development, Benjamin also spent several years as an Adjunct Professor at West Virginia State University’s School of Business, where he mentored the next generation of business and technology leaders.
Dedicated to service and stewardship, Benjamin is active in his community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for both Appalachian Bible College and Appalachian Bible Fellowship in addition to serving on the board of Elkview Baptist Church. Outside of the office, Benjamin is an outdoor enthusiast who loves hunting, farming, hiking, camping, and kayaking. He resides in Charleston, WV, with his wife and their three children. He and his family actively serve their community at Elkview Baptist Church.
