David Usefara, CPA, is a Director in the Governmental Practice of Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC. In 2017, David received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of South Carolina. David started his career in 2018 in the firm’s Columbia office and has since been serving a wide variety of state and local government agencies throughout the southeast.

David is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA). David periodically presents for the Government Finance Officers Association of South Carolina (GFOASC) and SCACPA.

David currently resides in Simpsonville, South Carolina, with his wife, Alex, where they are active members of the community. David and Alex have two sons, Matty and Jamie.
