Kelley began her career in 2009 and has experience with federal and state tax compliance for individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and S-corporations. She works closely with her clients by interacting with them in person or over the phone on a regular basis. Kelley worked for a mid-sized local Houston firm from 2009 to 2021, then worked for a large nationwide firm from 2022 to 2024, and joined LaPorte in 2025. Kelley enjoys hands-on, face-to-face training with anyone she works with. She likes mentoring others, whether it be officially or unofficially, to help them grow and develop in their careers.

Kelley was an active member in TXCPA Houston’s CPAs Helping Schools Committee and trainer for accounting career education presentations where she spoke to K-12 students about accounting and spoke to parents about paying for college. She received the TXCPA Rising Star Award in 2020 and received the TXCPA Houston Stan & Margaret Voelkel Contribution to Education Award in 2018.

Kelley is a native Houstonian and lives in Fort Bend County with her husband and two sons.
