
Pete began his career in 1995 as a staff accountant at George Short & Associates in Greenville, South Carolina. He joined Bradshaw Gordon & Clinkscales, LLC, also in Greenville, South Carolina, in 1997, rising from a staff accountant to managing partner. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration from the University of South Carolina at Aiken in 1994, graduating magna cum laude. He earned his Master of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina in 1995. He obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 1997, Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV) in 2003 and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) designation in 2008. Pete’s areas of practice are: business valuation, litigation support, and tax engagements for individuals and closely-held businesses. Self-described as a “dying breed of generalists,” Pete has a wide array of experience in professional services, manufacturing, construction, distribution, retail, restaurants, and real estate.
Pete is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the South Carolina Association of CPAs (SCACPA). He is currently a board member of Carolina Youth Symphony. He has also served as a Scout Master, Assistant Cub Master and Den Leader. He has served on the boards for the Greenville Jazz Collective, Meals on Wheels of Greenville, Meals on Wheels of Greenville Endowment, St. James Day School, Rotary Club of Greenville, and Roper Mountain Holiday Lights. He is a member of St. James Episcopal Church. Pete is married with two children and resides in Taylors, SC with his wife. His two sons are in college. Pete enjoys spending time with his family, household and gardening projects, and playing guitar.
