Rod began his professional career in 1989. His experience includes seven years in the corporate tax department of a Fortune 100 company and over 30 years with middle-market public accounting firms.

His career is focused on providing tax planning, tax compliance, and business advisory services to middle-market and large companies. A hands-on Partner, Rod also oversees many of the larger client groups in the Houston office.

Rod brings a broad perspective to each engagement, having served a wide range of industries, including construction, real estate, energy, insurance, hospitality, entertainment, and professional firms. His clients have included closely held companies, family-owned businesses, middle-market companies, and private equity-backed ventures.
