CHATTANOOGA, April 4, 2025- In the celebration of Pi Day, professionals from Mauldin & Jenkins, a leading assurance, tax and advisory firm demonstrated their commitment to community involvement by raising funds to support United Way of Greater Chattanooga.
Employees were invited to designate their cash donation towards a Firm Partner of their choice, with the highest earner receiving a pie to the face. Through this fun initiative, the team raised $1,100. This generous contribution will impact United Way’s mission to improve education, health, and financial stability within the community.
Reflecting on the effort, office manager Dawn Parks said, “Traditionally, we celebrate Pi Day on March 14th and this year, we decided that we could make it more impactful than just another day to eat pie. For three weeks, leading up to March 14th, our office collected money to donate to the United Way.”
United Way seeks to invest in the community by uniting people and resources to build stronger and healthier communities. Through volunteering, local fundraising, nonprofit support and community programs, United Way is able to implement transformational change.
